1. Bulgarian citizen may travel to Macao SAR visa-free for a short visit or tourism and stay in Macao SAR for up to 90 days.

    2. Apart from diplomatic passport holders, other citizens of Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Viet Nam should apply for a visa at Chinese diplomatic or consular missions abroad before entering Macao SAR.

    3. For the citizens of other countries, they may either enter Macao SAR without visa or make an entry permit (visa-upon-arrival) application upon their arrival at Macao.     4. Application Procedures

    Submit the application in person or by an agent to Chinese Embassy in Bulgaria every Tuesday or Thursday from 9:30-12:00(except for holidays)

    5. Documents Required

    5.1 Original passport with over 6 months’ validity and blank visa pages, and a photocopy of the passport’s information page

    5.2  The application form for a visa for Macao SAR that has been filled out in a truthful, complete, and accurate manner

    5.3 One 2-inch, recently-taken, full face, and bare-headed color photo4.4 For other required documents, please refer to the website of the Macao SAR Public Security Police Force.

    6. Processing Time and Fees

    6.1 Visas to be processed and issued by the Chinese embassy or consulate:

    Regular service: 5 working days, 28 Euros per visa.

    Express service: 2-3 working days, an additional fee of 22 Euros per visa will be charged.

    6.2 For visa applications that need to be referred to the Macao SAR Public Security Police Force, it normally takes 10 working days or longer. In addition to the visa fee, an extra 19 Euros will be charged when submitting the application for the communication service.
