In order to continue facilitating the exchange of persons traveling between China and foreign countries, China has decided to extend the unilateral visa exemption policy for 45 countries including Bulgaria (list attached) until 24:00 on December 31, 2026. Individuals holding ordinary passports from the relevant countries who come to China for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, official exchange visits and transit, for no more than 30 days are eligible for visa free entry. Individuals who do not meet the visa exemption requirements still need to obtain a Chinese visa before entering the country.
